Zig Ziglar shares with Keith Rosen his core philosophy and mantra for living a successful life in this final previously unreleased interview.

“Your career is in your hands,” Zig stated.

Zig continued. “Your career is in your hands. It’s not luck, it’s not an accident, it’s not that you were favored over anyone else. It is because you always do the right thing the right way and always remember that you can have everything in life you want, if you just help enough other people get what they want. This has been my mantra for years. I’m here to help.”

“We would all do better and have a richer quality of life if we were to follow this core philosophy,” I added.

“I believe so very much,” Zig said.

It was nearing the end of our day and we were wrapping up our final conversation. At this point, the experience I had on this day with Zig Ziglar was still just a bit too surreal for me.

I thanked Zig and let him know how profoundly grateful I was to have this time to sit and talk with him today. I thanked him for sharing his time and this gifts with the world and I hope he’d continue to make the impact has has already made on all of the millions of people he has throughout career.

Zig smiled and said, “I’m going to do the best I can as long as I live.”

Mr. Zig Ziglar, you have certainly honored your word… Thank you.

This concludes this special edition of the Sixty Second Sales Coach which was dedicated to Zig Ziglar in his memory. This is the final previously unreleased video that was taped during the day I spent with Zig at his corporate office in 2009. I hope you found these videos valuable and have contributed to your success, confidence and motivation to succeed and achieve what you want most in every area of your life, by first helping others get what they want.

We are forever grateful for Zig’s wisdom and the gifts he has given to all of us over the years. His words and inspiration will continue to impact us today and for many generations to come.
